HiFi TUNING PRODUCTS - SPRING 2023
**NEW** - HiFi Tuning Supreme 3 Diamond Fuses and Fuse
Holder
HiFi Tuning will be making available, to order, an upgraded version of their
Supreme 3 fuses, namely the Supreme 3 Diamond range.
Why do we incorporate a diamond into a Fuse (or a Fuse Holder)?
It has been proven many times and is undisputed that gemstones have a positive effect on us humans due to their naturally very high natural vibrations.
This is generally known and undisputed, especially in healing science and quantum physics.
After we had made listening tests with different gemstones and minerals, such as emerald, ruby, diamond and some other minerals, we could clearly hear the diamond as the gemstone, which - correctly integrated - gave the sound a much more powerful, clearer and more dynamic reproduction.
These will be available in a range of sizes and fuse ratings:
5x20mm, 6.3x32mm (US), 6.3x25.4mm (UK) and 10x38mm (gg/gl) - and in FAST or
SLOW blow versions.

**NEW** - HiFi Tuning Rewireable UK
Mains Plug
We now have available the HiFi Tuning UK Mains plug, which can be supplied complete
with a factory-fitted HiFi Tuning Supreme 3 13 Amp Fast blow fuse.
Using a high quality plastic body, and featuring Cryo-treated, Gold-plated fittings,
allows this to be the perfect way to get power into your equipment. A good size
cable entry gland is fitted to permit the use of most CE-approved mains cables
(if you want to re-terminate your existing power cables).

**NEW** - HiFi Tuning Fuse Holder
Designed to replace the conventional mRCD switched modules in DIN-standard distribution
boxes, the new HiFi Tuning Fuse Holder (and built-in SP/ST switch) can improve
the sound quality of your system by eliminating the sometimes "noisy"
electronic sensor (from the ring circuit you use for listening to music), and
replacing the module with a high quality, high rated, replaceable wire fuse,
rated at 16 or 32 Amps (as used on most UK ring circuits).
The Fuse Holder incorporates a single-pole switch (for isolating wall sockets
when required) and a RED light to show power is active through the device.
The internal parts are all Gold-plated and Cryo-Treated, of course !
Specifications
Ue - 240 Volts
Ie - 32 Amps
Uimp - 6 kVolts
Ui - 800 Volts
Meets IEC 60947-3 and IEC 60269
It is highly recommended that you use the services of a qualified electrician
to install this !

The Fuse Holder can be supplied without the internal fuse, or including a 16
Amp or 32 Amp Supreme 3 fuse as required (other fuse values also available).

**NEW** - HiFi Tuning C7 Rewireable Connector
There are many replacement IEC C13/14 and C19/20 connectors available, but not
so many quality rewireable C7 connectors.
But HiFi Tuning have just made available a quality C7 connector, which can be
used, with suitable high quality mains cables (such as Supra LoRad),
to improve the performance of audio equipment fitted with "Figure 8"
sockets.

**NEW** - HiFi Tuning NanoTuch and Nano Liquid CD/DVD
Cleaning Pad and Spray
HiFi Tuning have developed the NanoTuch (aka NanoTouch) CD/DVD Micro-Fiber Cleaning
Cloth which can help remove dust, fingerprints from the surface of the media.
You should keep the cloth clean after use, as it will "pick up" the
dust from the disc and if the cloth is not kept clean afterwards, further use
could cause scratches on a second disc...so be careful.
Used in conjunction with the NanoTouch, is the HiFi Tuning Nano Liquid/Spray.
Just spray the media disc and wipe off with the NanoTouch. Its use help prevents
fogging and it has an anti-static property, to help keep the disc dust-free.
Nano Liquid/Spray meets ASTM F963 standards and is non-toxic and environmentally
friendly !

HiFi Tuning Fuses for use with quality audio and AV
products
We are distributing their range of deep Cryo-treated fuses, which are hand-made
in Germany and which are available in a number of types:
UK Mains Fuses
----------------------
Gold2 in 10 Amp or 13 Amp versions - now discontinued
and no longer available
|
For UK mains plugs we have their Supreme3 13 Amp
fuses
|
|
|
These are in standard UK main fuse size, which is 6.3mm (diameter)
x 25.4mm (length).
Internal Equipment Fuses
----------------------------------
* For internal use within most audio equipment power supplies (for instance),
we have 5mm (dia) x 20mm (l) fuses in the T version, which is an anti-surge
(ie time-lag or "slow-blow") type fuse, across a range of values (see
below).
These are available in either the Silver/Gold ("Silber/Gold")
|
or Copper ("Kupfer") versions.
|
|
|
Other types of fuses
---------------------------
We are also able to supply 5mm x 20mm Fast Blow fuses in Silver/Gold version,
in a range of values.
Some higher-end products use 6.3mm (dia) x 32mm (l) fuse types, (commonly found
in American-manufactured products) and for these we can supply both Fast and
Slow Blow versions.
A further option are the 10.3mm (dia) x 38mm (l) fuses, as used on mains distribution
boxes.
What's the difference between the different fuse types?
------------------------------------------------------------------------
HiFi Tuning also offer "F" (Fast Blow) type fuses in both the 20mm
and 32mm types. These are principally used in the output sections of some amplifiers
and may also be used on the input to some loudspeakers and/or individual drive
units, such as HF units (aka "tweeters").

Note:
Please note: It is IMPERATIVE that the VALUE and TYPE
of fuse is correctly specified if you are replacing any existing fuse.
Incorrect use will invalidate ANY warranty (implied or otherwise). If a fuse
fails it is more likely to be due to a fault condition, than a problem with
the fuse itself.
(Click here for information on why fuses can fail).
Do NOT use a Fast Blow (F) fuse instead of an anti-surge (T) type fuse and vice
versa.
Do NOT use a different Amp rating compared to that which is recommended by the
product manufacturer (or which is fitted to the product already) - under specifying
the fuse value can cause it to "blow" prematurely and likewise over
specifying the value can cause the equipment to be damaged in the event of an
over-voltage situation.
Replacing internal fuses within ANY product can invalidate your warranty for
the equipment. Likewise, care MUST be taken when replacing any fuses - make
sure the equipment is turned OFF and has been unplugged from the mains especially
before changing internal fuses.
NEVER check any HiFi Tuning fuse(s) with a normal, cheap multimeter, as you
can destroy the fuses immediately. All fuses are factory checked (before being
packed and imported into UK), using High-End Measuring Equipment.
If in ANY doubt, please consult a qualified electrician or service engineer.
